Ocala’s First Friday Artwalk features an array of performing and visual artists spanning 15 blocks through the downtown historic district. The event happens every first Friday of the month from 6:00pm – 9:00pm during September – May.
Independent artists from around the world come to Ocala to experience this four-day annual film festival which includes movie screenings, professional development, networking, special events and more. Sponsored by the Ocala Film Foundation.

Museums & Galleries
This leading cultural center is housed in an award-winning classical architecture building featuring Italian travertine marble throughout. The Appleton Museum of Art houses nearly 18,000 pieces of art and artifacts from around the world and hosts numerous traveling exhibitions.
