First Friday Artwalk
Ocala’s First Friday Artwalk features an array of performing and visual artists spanning 15 blocks through the downtown historic district. The event happens every first Friday of the month from 6:00pm – 9:00pm during September – May.

Silver Springs International Film Festival
Independent artists from around the world come to Ocala to experience this four-day annual film festival which includes movie screenings, professional development, networking, special events and more. Sponsored by the Ocala Film Foundation and held in the beautifully restored Marion Theater in downtown Ocala.

Symphony Under the Stars - An Ocala Mother's Day Tradition!
Enjoy an outdoor concert featuring favorite selections—from cinematic themes and classic tunes to rousing patriotic pieces—performed by the Ocala Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Matthew Wardell. Held each year on Mother’s Day at The Ocala Golf Club, the event begins at 3 p.m. with opening entertainment, select vendors, and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy. Bring your own picnic or sample offerings from local food vendors. The evening of family-friendly fun continues with the Ocala Symphony Orchestra concert beginning at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks at approximately 8:45 p.m. Put on by FAFO (Fine Arts For Ocala)

Ocala Downtown Market

Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing
Don "Big Daddy" Garlits is a legendary figure and innovator in the world of drag racing. He perfected the rear-engine Top Fuel dragster, advocated for safety, broke speed records, and won multiple championships across the NHRA, AHRA, and IHRA, with over 140 national event victories.
