Greg Lord
Greg is a lifelong resident of Florida, and he has lived in Marion County since 1985. He grew up with show horses and, as an adult, moved on to the hobby of roping. He has been showing competitively for over 42 years.
Through his years of work in the equine field prior to becoming a realtor, Greg became familiar with many of the 50 breeds of horses that grace the pastures of Marion County as well as all of the farm areas, and many of the over 1200 farms. He also learned about the vastly varying wants and needs of horse owners.
As a former thoroughbred trainer, Greg knows the race industry from the inside. He understands the serious breeder whose main concerns are the rich, limestone soil of
our area that contributes to strong, healthy foals and a well laid out barn and paddock area that is conducive to quality mare and foal care. He understands that a serious show person needs a level area for training as well as a good barn. And he knows and respects that there are some horse people who are at the stage where they simply want a great view of their pastures from the house so they can watch their horses enjoying life grazing on lush grass on the rolling hills and amongst the majestic oaks.
As a long-time businessman, Greg understands that success begins and ends with the satisfaction of the client or customer. He taps into his years of experience in the horse business and knowledge of the area to match his clients with the perfect property that meets their needs.
